John 13:34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another."
Don't forget that people are a part of Creation too. When you help the needy you are being eco, when you feed the hungry you are being eco (especially if it's local and organic...check your local food pantry; lots in the area take garden fresh produce!). Don't be unkind when you are being eco by condemning; instead, teach in love and compassion. Love one another no matter how different and together we can work toward the Glory of God by caring for ALL of Creation.
