Sunday's Eco Inspiration

" The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it." (Genesis 2:15)

Since the very beginning humanity has been made responsible for stewardship toward creation. It is okay to work the land, God tells us to use what He blessed us with. However, we are not to abuse it.. we are called to take care of it. Today I believe this means sustainable forestry, the slow foods movement, less plastics, alternative energy sources that do not make a permanent impact (i.e. wind energy). etc. So use the land, plant your garden but take care of the land...don't douse it in pesticides.
